I've used Yummy FTP client for over a year. It's great, not any problems, actually I don't like its interface at the first time, I think it's not good enough, but now,I've been used to it. And since the latest version update, I upgrade my code, the speed is much faster than before. It's price not cost much, compared to other similar FTP client.
Before I purchase Yummy, I've tried several FTP clients, and made a test. I find Yummy is faster than other similar FTP clients when you only transfer a single file, for its mutiple connections. I also like its schedule feature, that is much better and goes ahead of some of the similar FTP Apps, like Transmit. The only cons of Yummy I think some features of Yummy are not intuitive and not friendly to the starter.
Since last month, I still use Transmit, also a FTP/SFTP App for Mac users, which cost me $34.00. And last month I don't want to upgrade the license, its upgrade will cost extra $19.00. At that time, my brother just recommend me Yummy. It costs less than Transmit, and the more important is that I found Yummy is more suitable for me, its features are enough for my daily work. I'm so glad. Recommend!
Yummy is one of the best FTP client for Mac users I think, especially important for who usually manages several or more Linux server. Its FTP engine is the key value for me. Although it's not the perfect, for It's license is only for one machine, If I need use it on my mac book and iMac, I have to quit one or purchase 2 "single user" license. That's bad, but overall, I like its features and mostly its FTP engine.
Yummy FTP client is not perfect as I thought before. But I only use its FTP feature, fast, easy to use, maybe not easy for the newbie. The most important is it only at around 10 - 20 dollors, and sometimes on sale for $5. It's best mac FTP client for me. BTW, I also like its synchronization feature!
